Abstract

1491420 Power supplies for welding sets INSTYTUT SPAWALNICTWA 22 April 1976 [29 April 1975] 16278/76 Addition to 1357923 Heading H2H A power supply for a welding set according to the parent Specification is modified in that each transductor power winding is formed of a first portion 7 or 9 and a second portion 6 or 8, the connection of the contacts 5 enabling the portions 7, 9 to be connected in series to provide low welding currents and enabling the series connected portions 6, 7 and 8, 9 to be connected in parallel to provide high welding currents. The transductor power windings are wound on a core 3, 4 and with the contacts in the position shown, the portions 7, 9 are connected in series across the supply. When the contacts are moved to their other position, the windings are connected in parallel.
