Abstract

1489925 Clamps J GELL 24 April 1975 [11 June 1974] 25788/74 Heading E2B A clamp comprises: a flat elongate base 4 from which extend upstanding spaced webs 2 each having a notch 5 (optionally serrated at 6) for transversely supporting a first elongate article (e.g. a mast 18 for supporting T.V. aerials); at the end of the base 4, and extending from opposite elongate sides thereof depending integral extensions 8 each including a surface 11 facing the base and spaced therefrom for longitudinally clamping a second member (e.g. a boom 19); and a "U" bolt 15 received in a hole 13 in each extension 8 and forming a clamp with the notches of the webs 2. The clamp apart from the "U" bolt may be formed by bending a metal stamping.
