1488503 Adjusting vehicle headlamps LUCAS ELECTRICAL Ltd 17 March 1975 [30 March 1974] 14233/74 Heading F4R In an arrangement for tilting vehicle headlamps about horizontal axes in response to changes in attitude of a suspended part of the vehicle, the mechanical output 26 of transducer 25 responding to such changers acts on an articulated rod 18, slidably mounted in bushings 23, to effect axial movement transverse to the vehicle body, the end portions of rod 18 being connected by ball-and-socket joints 19 to cranked levers 15 hinged at 17, the other ends of levers 15 being linked to the headlamps to effect the tilting.
