Abstract

1487212 Yarn support spindle HOECHST AG 16 Sept 1974 [15 Sept 1973] 40279/74 Heading DIL Yarn support spindle, particularly for dyeing, comprises a plurality of rigid rods 5 connected to two end plates or rings 6 and 7 so as to define a cylinder, the end plate or ring 6 being provided with a hollow screwthreaded cylinder 4 for attachment to liq. treatment apparatus (12) [Fig. 2, not shown)] and introduction of liq. into the spindle, the end plate or ring 7 being provided with a threaded shank 3 to which a locking nut (11) can be fastened to secure the wound yarn to the spindle. The rods are preferably provided with ring-shaped spacers 9. The spindle is preferably comprised of 7-9 rods having a diameter of 4-10 mm.
