Abstract

1487138 Fixing column shuttering in position W KENNY and PEM KENNY 24 Feb 1976 [25 Feb 1975] 7827/75 Heading E1S Column shuttering locators 3, 7 are clamped rigidly to starter bars 1 to avoid the necessity for kickers. The locators extend upwardly and are flat or of angle shape. In the embodiment shown, threaded studs 4 are fastened by, e.g. welding, to one face of each locator and carry clamping straps 5. The studs are arranged off-centre in an upright sense, to allow overlap of studs of adjacent locators, as shown. If angle plates were used at each corner of a column , the studs could be centrally located.
