Abstract

1486595 Measuring material in continuous lengths M SINGEISEN 27 Sept 1974 42189/74 Addition to 1372786 Heading G1M Guide rollers 1 support moving material 2 whilst a measuring roller 4 mounted as shown in a bracket 6 having two ball pivots 10 is pressed down upon the material by a rod 13 connected to a diaphragm 14 moved by pressure in a cylinder 15. A preloadable spring 11 counterbalances the bracket 6 and a counter 16 operated by a photo-electric device 17 is provided.
