Abstract

1486431 Developer sheet FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 13 Sept 1974 [17 Sept 1973] 40107/74 Heading D2B A developer sheet for use in pressure sensitive recording comprises a support having print-coated on one surface thereof a developing ink comprising (a) a colour developer, (b) a binder comprising a thermoplastic linear polyester derived from a dicarboxylic acid and a dihydric alcohol, and (c) an organic liquid medium in which the binder can be dissolved or dispersed. Preferably the ink comprises from 10 to 50 % by weight of the colour developer, from 5 to 45 % by weight of the polyester and from 30 to 80 % by weight of the liquid medium. The ink may also contain a plasticizer, a filler and a white pigment. The support is preferably of paper. The developer sheet may have a layer of colour-former on one face thereof.
