Abstract

1485893 Reversible sky-light window J SCHMIDT 15 Oct 1975 [18 Oct 1974] 42291/75 Heading E1J A top hinged sky-light window which can be reversed for cleaning comprises a glazed frame 3 pivotally attached at or outside one edge to the distal ends of a U-shaped frame 4 which is pivotally attached to the main frame 1 at or outside the other edge; the pivotal axes 5, 10 being parallel; the frames may be locked together and lie in one plane when in a closed position. The glass is fixed in grooves in three members of the frame 3 and projects over the fourth member. For weather-proofing a U-shaped cover is fixed on frame 4 to protect the gaps between the frames which have complementary rabbets.
