1485861 Attaching components to circuit boards TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET LM ERICSSON 30 Aug 1974 [31 Aug 1973] 38126/74 Heading B3A [Also in Division E2] A fastening element 2, Fig. 3, for fastening an electrical apparatus to a surface such as a printed circuit board by engagement of grooves in the apparatus and holes in the surface is bent behind the surface after passing through the holes and also comprises a dovetail-shaped portion 15 to engage a similarly shaped part of the groove. The element may also comprise a handle portion 16 for insertion by hand, which may be broken off at 17. The portion 16 is absent if the element is to be inserted mechanically. The element may be punched from sheet metal.
