1484797 Epoxy resin composition DEFENCE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR 24 Feb 1976 [28 Feb 1975] 8353/75 Heading C3B An adhesive composition, curable at room temperature, comprises: (A) an epoxy resin which is a reaction product of a diepoxide and a carboxyl terminated butadiene/acrylonitrile copolymer containing at least 5% by wt. of acrylonitrile units; and (B) a primary amine terminated polyether, which term includes diethers. (A) may be prepared by reacting 100 epoxide equivalent of a diglycidyl ether (e.g. of bisphenol A) with 0À2-2À0 carboxyl equivalents of copolymer at 150-200‹ C., optionally in the presence of a tertiary amine catalyst, e.g. 2,4,6-tris-(dimethylaminomethyl) phenol. (B) may be a di-(3-aminopropyl)ether of polyethylene glycol, e.g.
