1484592 Photo-electric read-out of weighing balance ETABS LEONARD SA 12 Aug 1974 [13 Aug 1973] 35496/74 Addition to 1428024 Heading G 1A In a precision balance as described in Parent Specification 1428024, having a movable beam 1 of parallelogram type that moves in response to the load placed on an associated weighting pan, the movable grid 4 is vertically suspended from the beam 1 by a flexible strip 3. The grid is guided past the photo-counting means 5 by a number of adjustable precision screws 9, positioned as shown to prevent lateral play of the grid during the sliding movement that produces the count.
