Abstract

1484094 Electrical coupling HANS KOLBE & CO 14 May 1975 [14 May 1974] 20434/75 Heading H2E A device for electrical and mechanical connection to a coaxial cable 3 comprises a contact element (5, 14, Fig. 3, not shown) for connection to the inner conductor 6, fixing means for the outer conductor and a cable support plate 9, the fixing means comprising a spring 10 and a clamp element 8 movable away from the cable by compressing the spring, and pressing the cable against the plate 9 when the spring is released. The contact element is embedded in a plastics carrier (12, Fig. 3, not shown), which terminates in a carrier board (16), e.g. a printed circuit board. In another embodiment (Fig. 5, not shown) a single U- shaped bow (18) is used as a clamp element for two coaxial cables. The plate 9 also carries sockets for coaxial plugs (Fig. 3, not shown).
