Abstract

1481645 Securing railway rails PANDROL Ltd 18 March 1976 [21 March 1975] 12012/75 Heading E1G An anchoring member 1 for use adjacent a rail flange 22 to receive a fastening clip 40..42 of the kind described in Specification 861473 has a horizontal passage 2 and lateral ledge 9 for the clip, and has a depending stem 3 enlarged at 5 for interlocking with a slotted base plate 21, the member 1 having on its underside one or more teeth 11 to cooperate with teeth 26 on the plate 21 and thereby allow lateral adjustment of the member 1. The stem enlargement 5 shown is shaped as an inverted T-head bevelled to provide a bearing ridge 16. The rail 22, Fig. 4, is supported on a concrete slab through a metal-rubber-metal composite plate, 24-25- 21-28, the upper plate having a T-slot 23-23A for the anchor member stem.
