Abstract

1478610 Two part couplings LUCAS ELECTRICAL Ltd 2 Sept 1974 [10 Nov 1973] 52308/73 Heading H2E An electrical connector comprising a body 12 and cover 13 has pairs of passages 15, 16 in the body in which one 15 of the pair is a groove with its closing wall supplied by the cover and takes the lead connecting portion of a generally U- shaped terminal, and in which the other 16 of the pair takes the socket portion of the terminal, both portions being integral parts of the terminal (Fig. 5, not shown). The body and cover may be connected by a flexible member 14. In an alternative embodiment (not shown) passages 16 may also be grooves closed on one side by the cover 13. The whole unit 11 may be moulded in synthetic resin material.
