Abstract

1478351 SZ stranding heads SIEMENS AG 31 March 1976 [11 April 1975] 12867/76 Heading D1T A stranding head for SZ stranding of e.g. electric cables comprises a hollow shaft 1 through which the material to be stranded passes and which carries the twisting elements e.g. rollers 5, 6 and 7, and at least two driving wheels 11 and 14 of the stranding head being rotatably mounted on the shaft, each wheel having a magnetic coupling whose rotor 18, 19 is firmly connected to the hollow shaft 1. The stators 22, 23 of the couplings which contain the magnet windings are mounted on a supporting body 31 in which a holding pin 25, is screwed which prevents the bodies' rotation.
