Abstract

1476529 Aryldiamines and their use as herbicides CIBA-GEIGY AG 4 Oct 1974 [5 Oct 1973] 43211/74 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of formula wherein R 1 represents C 3-5 cycloalkyl group, a 2-furyl group or a tetrahydro-2-furyl group; and R 2 represents a C 1-5 alkyl group. These compounds are obtained by reacting a compound of formula first with a compound of formula and then with ammonia, wherein Hal represents a chlorine or bromine atom and R 1 and R 2 are as defined above. The invention also relates to a pesticidal composition which comprises (i) a compound according to the invention in admixture with at least one of the following: (ii) a solid extender; (iii) a surfactant; or (iv) an aerosol propellant.
