Abstract

1476320 Carding plate assembly ENGLISH CARD CLOTHING CO Ltd 1 May 1975 [10 May 1974 25 Oct 1974] 46375/74 and 46376/74 Heading D1N A stationary carding plate assembly comprises a support frame 64, 66 which extends over the swift of the carding machine and from which a carding plate or plates 54 are suspended. The frame is composed of tubular members supported by the bends 72. Each point of suspension from the tubes is adjustable by means of a screw 108 which opposes a spring 106, this allows adjustment of the clearance between the card clothing and the swift.
