949,347. Jigging mechanism. BLACK PRODUCTS CO. Jan. 17, 1962 [Jan. 17, 1961], No. 1723/62. Heading B8C. The frame 15 of a bag-filling machine carries a floating frame located between the side plates 14 and suspended on a scale beam 54. The floating frame carries vertical hangers 17 on which is mounted the bag-settling device 16. The motor shaft 36 of this device carries eccentrics 35 and balance weights 43 and the saddles 24, 25 are connected to the eccentrics by arms 28 and leaf springs 29, each saddle being supported from the base-plate 21 by pairs of horizontal spring links 31. Adjustment of the relative angular positions of the eccentrics on the motor shaft 36 allows the phase of the saddles to the varied. Specification 881,776 is referred to.
