Abstract

1476265 Scrubbing gases; spray-producers SACILOR ACIERIES ET LAMINOIRS DE LORRAINE 11 July 1975 [18 July 1974] 29229/75 Headings B1R and B2F Gases in a flue or conduit 8 are scrubbed by passing them through a mist atomized by the conjunction of at least two jets of scrubbing liquid from nozzles 9a, 10a on injectors 9, 10 fixed to the wall of the flue or conduit by plate 11. The nozzles may be of the same or different diameter and/or may be fed with liquid at the same or differing pressure. In the embodiment shown in Figure 1, the nozzles are set at an angle less than 180‹ and produce a flat elliptical-shaped sheet N of mist.
