Abstract
1475412 Coating cutting edges with metals ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 8 May 1974 [9 May 1973] 20202/74 Heading C7F A cutting edge, e.g. a saw blade or a file, is coated by applying by thermal spraying means molten binder metal of e.g. Ni-B, Ni-Si, Co or Fe alloys or hard solder and applying metal particles of e.g. an alloy of W and/or Ti carbides and Co, at a distance from the spraying means such that the particles are not decomposed. The spraying means may be an oxyacetylene flame or plasma torch.
