Abstract

1475058 Combined rear view mirror and wind deflector REGIE NATIONALE DES USINES RENAULT and AUTOMOBILES PEUGEOT 12 March 1975 [14 March 1974] 10382/75 Heading B7J A combined rear view mirror and deflector device comprises a pair of blades 1 and 2, which are carried by the mirror R to form a passage for directing an air stream f1 on to the reflecting surface of the mirror R, and a further deflector surface 3 rigid with the blade 2 for directing an air stream f2 on to a side window 6 of a cab C on which the device is mounted. Blade 1 is formed integrally with the frame structure of the mirror R and is parallel to blade 2. Air streams f1 and f2 are intended to prevent deposition of dirt upon the surfaces of the mirror and window.
