Abstract

1472825 Shopping trolley bag D R CLEGG 13 May 1975 19977/75 Heading A4G A bag 11 for a shopping trolley 12 has a collapsible extension 14 adapted to increase the capacity of the bag. As described the extension is of flexible material and is stitched to the insides of the bag walls near their upper edges. The extension may be closed by a draw-string 14b or a zip fastener, and a closure flap 14c may also be provided. The extension may have pockets which co-operate with a strut or struts (not shown) provided adjacent the top 12b of the trolley to support the extension. In an alternative embodiment the extension is in the form of an extensible flexible skirt joining separable upper and lower bag parts arranged in axially adjacent disposition.
