Abstract

1472646 Vehicle control ERNST WAGNER KG 28 Aug 1974 [4 Sept 1973] 37593/74 Heading B7N In an arrangement for preventing collisions between vehicles moving in the same direction on a track 1 each vehicle carries a transmitter arrangement 11, 12 operable at frequency f1 which continuously transmits to part 3 of the adjacent one of a series of trackside loops 2 and this signal actuates via amplifier 6 a relay 8 whereby a signal at frequency f2 from signal generator 13 is applied to the rearward part 4 of the loop to be received by a receive arrangement 16, 17 of any vehicle following the first too closely whereby the power supply to the drive motor 21 of this following vehicle is discontinued. Fig. 3 (not shown) illustrates the arrangement in use at a track intersection.
