Abstract

1472407 Safety harness BRITAX (LONDON) Ltd 2 Jan 1975 [4 Jan 1974] 00390/74 Heading A3V One part 2 of a harness buckle is fixed to an adjustable seat 1 and attached to tension member 3 wound on a reel 10 such that the reel is locked when the seat is locked in position. The member 3 may be webbing, a perforated metal strip wound on a toothed wheel; or a transverse bent, self retracting, metal strip. The reel is locked mechanically or by a solenoid, but is released when the seat lock is released.
