Abstract

1472403 Display sheets; blackboard IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 25 July 1974 [14 Aug 1973] 38406/73 Headings B6A and B6P A display sheet which may bear printed markings and is receptive to markings made by ball point pen, pencil, chalk, crayons &c., comprises an open-celled polyolefin foamed film having a bulk density of between 0À05 and 0À5 g. cm.<SP>-3</SP> and a thickness of between 250 and 750 Á, and is fastened, without the use of adhesives, pins, clips or the like, to a support surface by smoothing into contact therewith. The cells may be elongated and oriented into a parallel configuration. The sheet may be accompanied by printed instructions and a plurality of such sheets may be stapled into a pad. Each sheet may contain an opaque pigment, e.g. TiO 2 , and the discharge treated on one or both sides.
