Abstract

1472249 Stationery; printers composing- appliances E S EVANS 20 June 1974 [21 March 1973] 53811/72 Headings B6A and B6W Text to be translated into print, the lines of which are of a predetermined length, is typed on to a corresponding copy sheet between a first copy boundary line 1 and one of a set of second copy boundary lines 2, 3, 4 depending on which print type face, e.g. 11/12, 10 or 8 point, is to be used. The lines 2, 3, 4 are for use with a typewriter having "Elite" (Registered Trade Mark) typeface characters and a second set of lines 5, 6, 7 are for pica characters. A scale for indicating the number of lines of typed copy is also provided. A lay-out sheet, Fig. 2 (not shown), has a vertical scale indicating what the extent of the typed copy will be when printed in 11/12, 10 or 8 point print typeface.
