147,104. Chilowsky, C. Nov. 27, 1918, [Convention date]. Addition to 132,068. Drawings to Specification. Explosives; pyrotechnic compositions.-A large number of solid combustible substances and compositions are described for use in heating air in front of projectiles as described in the parent Specification. The following materials are mentioned, namely :-phosphorus; arsenious acid; sulphur; magnesium and other metals; paraffin, naphthalene, and diphenylamine; permanganate of potassium, nitrate of lead, and other oxygen yielding substances; black powder: and amorphous boron and calcium silicide.
