1470419 Stoma drainage bags G P E PERSSON 15 Oct 1974 [25 Oct 1973] 44673/74 Heading A5R A stoma drainage bag comprises a tube 11 of plastics sheeting closed at both ends 12, 13 to form a bag having an opening 14 therein, and an adhesive patch 15 of porous airpermeable thermoplastics, weldable sheeting coated on one surface with spots 16 or linear strips of adhesive protected by a releasable backing sheet. The patch may be formed from threads or fibres of vegetable, animal or synthetic materials, and may be woven or non- woven, or it may be formed from thermoplastics polymers such as polyamide, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, or acrylic resin. The adhesive may be rubber-based or include polyacrylate.
