Abstract

1470093 Switch casings EGATUBE Ltd 28 April 1975 [6 March 1974] 9984/74 Heading H1N [Also in Division H2] A hinged cover to protect a flush mounted electric switch, socket outlet or the like from adverse weather conditions comprises a hinged lid 1, Fig. 1, on a back plate 2 attached behind the switch cover-plate at lugs 3, 3 using the cover-plate screws. A sealing gasket 6 may be mounted behind the back plate 2 with a tongue 7 extending into the lid 1. An aperture 5 provides for the cable of a plug connector in a socket outlet.
