1469715 Ophthalmic lenses WESLEYJENSSEN Inc 12 June 1974 [20 June 1973] 25961/74 Heading G2J A spectacle or contact lens for correcting aphakic vision comprises a polymeric lens-shaped body within which is uniformly dispersed an ultraviolet absorber. Non-polymerizable and copolymerizable benzophenones are used as U-V absorbers. Dyes may be added to absorb selected wavelengths of visible light.
