Abstract

146,916. Soc. Le Basalte. May 17, 1919. [Convention date]. Moulds.-A mould adapted to permit the ready release of the moulded product comprises a frame 2 within which are arranged a series of movable partitions 1 having abutting bevelled edges and furnished with inclined ribs 5 engaging corresponding ribs 4 on the inside of the frame. Upon lowering the partitions 1 within the frame, they are forced together to provide the mould space. The moulded product is released by inverting the mould and forcing down the partitions, the movements of which are limited by pins &c. 8 engaging slots 9. Fig. 5 shows a modification comprising an open frame which is employed over a surface 10 and is not inverted.
