Abstract

1468724 Suspension filing SWINGLINE Inc 13 March 1974 [15 March 1973] 11251/74 Heading B6E A suspension bar assembly 20 for loose-leaf binders or books 10 provided along their spines 11 with laterally extending ribs 14, 15 for suspending the binders from the assembly comprises a pair of suspension members 24, 25 provided along oppositely facing inner surfaces 24a, 25a, with support rails 30, 31 which co-operate with the ribs 14, 15, the rails being further provided with stops 32 at their respective ends and the members 24, 25 being provided with caps 27, 28. The caps 27, 28 and the ends of the members 24, 25 are provided with complementary transverse grooves 40, 41 defining openings which serve to mount the bar assembly on suspension rails 17, 18. The caps 27, 28 are located on the ends of the members 24, 25 against vertical or lateral displacement by a system of interlocking means and latching means (Fig. 3).
