Abstract

1467377 Fencing BEKAERT SA NV 18 March 1974 11820/74 Heading EIB A strut 11 for a wire mesh fence post comprises a rounded end portion 17 which permits adjustment and a spigot 13 having a. body portion and an offset portion 16 so that the spigot can be manipulated through a hole in the side of a post but cannot be pulled straight out. The spigot is preferably formed in a separate end piece 12 which is insertable in the end of a tubular member 11 to form the strut. The fence comprises wire mesh 3 supported on wires 4. The post being provided with stretchers for the wires 4. The wire mesh is secured to the post by a flat apertured end strip 9 which is mounted on extensions of the stretchers.
