1467093 Laminates from resin-containing paper sheets UNILEVER NV and SUD WEST CHEMIE GmbH 23 May 1975 [4 June 1974] 22650/75 Heading B5N [Also in Divisions C3 and D2] Sheets of a mouldable and hardenable paper' prepared by a process comprising the addition of one or more powdery or pasty waterinsoluble phenolic resins to the paper pulp, the or each phenolic resin having a M.P. of 55- 80‹ C., a curing time of from 3-8 minutes at 130‹ C., and a free phenol content of not more than 3% by wt. of resin, are used in the manufacture of laminates. A laminate may be formed entirely from said sheets by application of heat and pressure, or by applying said sheets to chip board or plywood.
