1466992 Laminates SIEMENS AG 23 Jan 1974 [21 Feb 1973] 3233/74 Heading B5N [Also in Division C3] Laminates may include a layer containing a composition obtained from a resin and a silyltriazine obtained by reaction of a tri-alkenoxys-triazine (trialkenyl cyanurate) with a silane R 5 -NH-R 1 -Si(R 2 )(OR 3 )(OR 4 ), wherein R 1 is a divalent aliphatic or aliphatic-aromatic group, R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are each an aliphatic group optionally containing one or more -O-, -NH- or -NH 2 groups, or R 2 may be an acetoxy, aryl or heteroaryl group, or R 1 , R 5 and the N atom may form a ring (see Division C3). Preferably the cyanurate and silane are in 1 : 1 molar ratio, giving products of the formula In Examples 7-9 glass fibre cloths are impregnated with MEK solutions of an epoxyfumaric acid polyester resin containing t-butyl peroxide and 2-(triethoxysilylpropylamino) -4,6- dialloxy-s-triazine, dried and made into laminates.
