Abstract

1466264 Boxes and cases UNILEVER Ltd 21 March 1974 [28 March 1973] 14876/73 Heading B8P A case 2 containing a plurality of rows of cartons 5 is provided with a pull tape 8, which is fixed to a side wall of the case, passes downwardly to the bottom and extends below at least one carton before extending upwardly to terminate at a free end 6 so that one or more of the cartons can be lifted by pulling the tape to facilitate unpacking. As shown, the tape extends below all the cartons of a central row and raises these by different amounts. In a modification, Fig. 4 (not shown), the tape passes below only one carton. The tape is of stranded paper or nylon and is secured at 9 by glass fibre-reinforced adhesive paper tape.
