Abstract

1465895 Azo dyes KODAK Ltd 18 June 1974 [20 March 1973] 13363/73 Heading C4P [Also in Division D1] Dyes of the general formula wherein A is the radical of an aniline or 1,2,3,4- tetrahydroquinoline coupling component and R 1 is a C 1 -C 4 alkylthio group are used in transfer printing processes on synthetic polymers, e.g. polyamides, polyesters and polyacrylonitriles to give red shades. They are prepared by diazotization and coupling.
