1465707 Telecommunications cable INDUSTRIE PIRELLI SpA 18 April 1974 [19 April 1973] 17103/74 Heading H1A Each element of a multi-element telecommunications cable comprises a plurality of insulated conductors 20, Fig. 2, 25, Fig. 3, surrounded by a metal screen consisting of one or more plastics coated metal tapes 22, Fig. 2 or 32, 34, Fig. 3, having their edge portions bonded in face-to-face contact, either inner face-to-outer face as in Fig. 2 or inner face-to-inner face as in Fig. 3 and Fig. 1 (not shown). The use of polyethylene and polyester plastics, and aluminium foil is mentioned.
