Abstract

1464043 Screw sockets KARL BAUER KG 25 Oct 1974 [26 Oct 1973] 46225/74 Heading F2H [Also in Division E1] A ground anchor comprises a tension rod 1 releasably secured in an elongate, corrugated anchor body 3, 5, 6 embedded in concrete 4, the body having fracture points 7 along its length whereby, after removal of the rod 1, the body can be broken by blows applied transversely to its length. The anchor body includes a threaded socket 5 and may be made of superposed rings tack welded or adhered together at 7. Alternatively, Fig. 2 (not shown), the body is made of spun concrete reinforced by steel rods which overlap at the fracture points.
