Abstract

1462474 Detecting waveform peaks LICENTIA PATENT VERWALTUNGS GmbH 6 May 1974 [5 May 1973] 19867/74 Heading H3P Peaks in a waveform of uncertain zero level, e.g. from scanning digital data, are detected by feeding the waveform to one input of a first comparator K1 and via a delay line to one input of another K2, an intermediate point in the line being connected to the other inputs of the comparators through a constant voltage dropping device G1, the output being obtained from the conjunctive combination at G2 of the outputs of the amplifiers. The circuit as shown provides an output only when the waveform level at the intermediate point less the constant voltage is greater than the waveform level at both the input and output end of the line. A similar circuit K3, K4, S2 prevents an output when the level at both input and output of the line is greater than the voltage at the intermediate point less the voltage S2.
