1462392 Fluid actuation of switches GARDOM & LOCK Ltd 25 Nov 1974 [19 Jan 1974] 2638/74 Addition to 1453612 Heading H1N In a differential pressure switch of the type described in Specification 1,453,612 the seal 17 for preventing leakage through the aperture in the end wall 26 of the casing 13 is defined in a cylindrical portion 28 surrounding the plunger 25 and joining a diaphragm portion 47A movable with the plunger 25 to an end portion 29 which sealingly engages the end wall 26. A flange 29 of the seal 17 is clamped between the end wall 26 and a hollow cylindrical head 30 of a guide 27 for the plunger 25. A head of the plunger 25 is trapped between the diaphragm 47 and diaphragm portion 47A of the seal 17, each of which has an annular corrugation 21 and a thickened rim 18.
