Abstract
1461724 Feeding-bottles CHUN-CHENG LIN 23 May 1975 22582/75 Heading A5X A tubular feeding bottle 1, Fig. 2, having a teat 4 mounted on the mouth thereof and held in position by a cap 5 screwed onto the neck of the bottle, has a suction tube 2 extending axially therein, the tube having an outlet 23 screwed to a flanged bush 231 rotatably received in an apertured disc 3 mounted on the bottle mouth and two inlets 21, 22 adjacent the mouth and the bottom of the bottle respectively and extending to one side of the suction tube, each inlet including a ball valve 212, 222 which closes one inlet when it is higher than the other inlet and opens said one inlet when it is lower than the other, the tube 2 rotating to a position where the inlets depend from the tube when the bottle is non- vertically orientated, Fig. 4, Fig. 5 (not shown), whereby an infant may feed easily in a lying down or sitting position. Each inlet has a cap 21a, 22a having apertures 211, 221 respectively therein. In a modification, a larger teat 4", Fig. 6, is used with a smaller teat 4' therein mounted on an extension of bush 231'.
