1461051 Proscillaridin derivatives KNOLL AG CHEMISCHE FABRIKEN 24 April 1975 [10 June 1974] 16952/75 Heading C2U The invention comprises compounds of formula (wherein R 1 is C 1-4 alkyl and R 2 is H or C 1-4 alkoxy), and their preparation from proscillaridin by reaction with (R 1 O) 3 CR 2 and methylation of the resultant proscillardin orthoester. Oral cardiotonic compositions comprise a compound I and a carrier.
