1459864 Rear view mirrors MAGNATEX Ltd 3 Jan 1975 [3 Jan 1974] 00269/74 Heading B7J A vehicle rear view mirror assembly which may be extended from a normal position on the vehicle to an outer position to permit rear viewing when towing a caravan or trailer, comprises a supporting arm 4 pivoted about a substantially vertical axis on a base part 2 secured to a front wing 3 of the vehicle, the arm 4 being locatable in known manner in at least two indexed positions disposed approximately at right angles to each other and a mirror head 8 mounted by a known ball joint 9 on an arm portion 20 pivoted about a substantially vertical axis by a joint 21, to the free end of the arm 4, the joint 21 being adjustable between at least two indexed positions through approximately a right angle.
