Abstract

1458294 Measuring porosity BELOIT CORP 25 Feb 1974 [28 Feb 1973] 8386/74 Heading G1S [Also in Divisions D 1 and D2] The porosity of a moving belt F is monitored by a pressure gauge 30 connected in a suction line to a head 16 mounted on a carriage 10 movable on a track 11 across the belt, the gauge 30 being responsive to pressure variations in a chamber 26 communicating with a slot 27 facing the belt.
