Abstract

1455864 Panel raising apparatus E MAGUIRE 14 Nov 1973 52783/73 Heading B8H A mobile apparatus for holding ceiling panels or the like in position whilst they are secured comprises a base frame 1 with a support column 2. A head assembly 24 is vertically adjustably mounted on the upper end of the column 2 and guides a shaft 44 of a frame 3 supporting a panel support frame 31 when the frame 31 is moved from a vertical position to a horizontal or inclined position. A strut 35 is adjustably secured to the frame 31 and to a beam 36 pivotably mounted on the column 2 and is acted upon by a spring 41 to provide an over centre action for raising the panel support frame 31. A lip 51 is provided on the frame 31 to retain the panels &c.
