1454541 Laminates DENSO-CHEMIE WEDEKIND KG 15 Nov 1973 [15 Nov 1972 17 May 1973] 53157/73 Heading B5N [Also in Division F2] A laminate for use in the protection of underground metal pipes and especially welded joints thereof consists of a flexible elastic foil 6 of plastics material having a coating of a plastic substance, having a base of synthetic rubber, e.g. butyl rubber on both sides, 5 and 7, the total thickness of the plastics substance coatings on both sides being 0À3 to 0À6 mm. The foil may be of low, medium or high density polyethylene, as defined in the Specification, 0À25 to 0À35 mm. thick and the coatings may be of equal thickness or may be thicker on the surface next to the pipe than on the surface away from the pipe.
