1454369 Covers for vehicle luggage J A SAUNT 23 Oct 1973 [2 Nov 1972] 50517/72 Heading B7J A cover for luggage in the rear of an estate car comprises a top sheet of fabric 13 with side sheets 14, 15 and a rear sheet 16, the cover being held in place along its edges by hooks on transverse elastic straps engaging side rails of the vehicle and held at its front by rods 17, 18 engaging clips 21 along the top edge of the rear seat back 11, rod 17 only engaging parts 21b of the clips when the rear seat is folded forward, but rod 18 also engaging parts 21c of the clips when the rear seat is in its in use position, the fabric of sheet 13 between the two rods in the latter position of the rear seat hanging in a fold.
