Abstract

1453758 Filing papers &c ROBERT KRAUSE KG 12 Dec 1974 [13 Dec 1973] 53851/74 Heading B6E A loose-leaf securing device for a loose-leaf binder having a plurality of rings 11, Fig. 3, carried by a support strip 15, is formed by a polyethylene strip 1, subdivided by fold lines 2 to 4 into four sections 5 to 8, the first and third sections being provided with slots 9, 10, and the fourth section being provided with a ring engaging hole 13. To hold the loose-leaves 16 and prevent the rings 11 from opening the first section 5 is slipped over a closed ring 11, which is subsequently opened for threading the leaves 16 and then closed again. Subsequently the second and third sections 6, 7, respectively, are folded about the fold lines 2, 3 and the third section 7 is additionally slipped over the closed ring 11. The fourth section 8 is finally folded in the opposite direction about fold line 4 and the hole 13 engaged about the half ring 11a. Sections 7 and 8 are of a length to provide a holding down tongue for the leaves 16.
