1452785 Epoxy resin composition EXCHEM HOLDINGS Ltd 4 Get 1973 [2 Nov 1972] 46364/73 Addition to 1277425 Heading C3B A plastic and hand kneadable tape comprises a first band comprising an uncured epoxy resin (I) and joined thereto in close side-to-side relationship a second band comprising a composition (II) capable of curing I when the materials of the two bands are admixed to form a uniform mixture. I may comprise a mixture of liquid, solid and semi-solid diglycidyl ethers of bisphenol A. II may comprise a polyamide prepared from polymerized fatty acid and polyalkylene polyamine. One or both bands may contain at least one filler, plasticizer and colorant. Drawings (not shown) illustrate possible configurations of the tape in which the bands are joined by their smallest and greatest dimensions and in which the curing agent band is totally enclosed in the epoxy resin band. The two bands may optionally be separated by a neutral band, inert to both I and II.
